Terminal deserves helpTo the Editor:
Buffalo is a city with incredible history. It is wonderful that Buffalo is preserving and recognizing many of its architectural treasures. I say ëmanyí for I am concerned with the well being of the Central Terminal.
I have recently done extensive research on the building. I noted proposals to preserve, renovate, even to tear it down. Now I see a building that is slowly rotting away.
I have seen figures of what preserving it would cost, yet am also aware of the cost of tearing it down. The Central Terminal can be overwhelming and intimidating, but that is no reason to ignore it. Isnít there anything that can be done?

Youth speaks: Save Central TerminalTo the Editor:
I am an 18-year-old student, and have become increasingly displeased and concerned with how many of our architectural treasures are being neglected or torn down.
I know much has been done to preserve Buffaloís historical architecture already and more is being planned. One situation, however, still burdens me: Central Terminal.
I want to encourage restoration of that building. I am well aware of the costs involved due to neglect and decay, however, I feel the project is one worth concentrating on. The buildingís size and significance give it precedence. For the sake of the Future we cannot allow such treasures to be neglected and disrespected any longer.
